Daisybox® caskets are produced from premium-grade, corrugated fibreboard. They contain no toxic resins allowing them to cremate cleanly or biodegrade naturally.

Daisybox® design-patented caskets are shipped flat-packed in bulk to funeral arrangers, as well as in individual shipper boxes to families wanting to decorate a Daisybox at a residential address or community hall, prior to a funeral service.

Visit our technical page to view a two minute video showing the very simple assembly process. No additional tools, fasteners or glue is required.

Decorate a Daisybox® at home, in a funeral home, or chapel, or even in a community hall, in the lead up to a funeral service, with a range of coloured pencils, crayons, marker pens, eco-friendly paints, fabrics, dried plants and/or flowers and other surface decorative materials. Some choose to write handwritten poems or messages. Others may choose to take a less serious stance to celebrate a life well-lived.

Download this PDF showing a selection of decorative materials commonly chosen.

As an optional extra, we offer Australian-made natural calico cotton liners and pillow slips, which snugly drop in and fit over the inside side walls. Fill the calico pillow slip with any soft biodegradable materials to suit. Shredded paper works best.

A Daisybox® presents a blank canvas for you to "say something" to attendees at a service.

Shipping & Returns

We accept returns on Daisybox Basic caskets that have been not marked in any way and are returned in original packaging to one of our stocking warehouses.

Daisybox caskets that are custom printed cannot be returned for a credit.

Years of research and development led to two patents issued for Daisybox caskets, incorporating Bioboard® design technology.

The below data is shared with funeral arrangers and the public, to allow you to make an informed decision about the technical merits of our caskets.

We welcome any constructive feedback and suggestions to make this data easier to understand. Please send your feedback to info@daisybox.io

Daisybox caskets were tested in 2018 in a Brisbane NATA-accredited testing laboratory to carry a minimum of 240kg using cotton rope handles. In addition to this, we loaded up a casket with liuqid-filled plastic drums to independently showcase the strength of the fibreboard and the inability of the rope handles to rip through the triple-layered fibreboard side walls.

Flat Packed for Efficient Transport & Easy Storage

Daisybox caskets are shipped in bulk from local licensed corrugated box plants in each country, to resellers, print partners and funeral homes in that country.

Distributed manufacturing ensures lowest-pricing is achieved in every country we operate in. The process also delivers much lower CO2 emissions due to less mileage traveled by each casket to where it's needed.

We freight 33 caskets with hessian rope handles on a 1200x1100mm (48" x 40") pallet.
